In order to address the nearly unprecedented financial pressures that they are facing, school districts are finding it necessary to reduce or eliminate programs and services. This often presents a special challenge:  most school data collection systems are not designed to provide the information decision makers need to make informed choices about program reductions.  Which cuts run the risk of destabilizing the general education program and possibly reversing years of progress?  Which cuts will end up costing more than they save?  Too often, there is no good information about these and other key issues that must be addressed.

We offer research and evaluation services that will reduce the level of uncertainty associated with these decisions.  By carefully reviewing the alignment between programs and policies, and studying program impact from multiple stakeholder perspectives, we can provide decision makers with actionable information.  Often, this can be done in a matter of weeks.  If your district is facing financial cutbacks, and if the gap between what your decision makers need to know and what they actually know is uncomfortably large, we would like to help you fill that gap with objective, unbiased data.
